“This place is so peaceful. This is great for couples and families both. Each night we would go to the whippy dip for ice-cream. We highly recommend this place.”

“A lovely historic hotel in downtown Cedar Falls where I was born and raised. My grandmother actually worked as a housekeeper here around 1914. The room was quaint and had lovely antique furniture. I was put off though that there was a charge for water as it is usually complimentary. There was a jacuzzi tub but it did not seem to work. The entry door was very difficult to open and I twice had to return to the desk to get help. It would take a shoulder to get it open so not optimal for someone who...

“I stayed 3 nights because I was going to a funeral. There was a notice at the front desk which said something like “ need to be staying 3 days to get your room serviced” . I never had my bed made the entire time I was there! That’s getting pretty chintzy or poor management. Breakfast was fair at best. Will not return”

“I've stayed in the past and things were okay, but I'm very impressed with the changes that have been made. It's nice that breakfast is ready to serve at the opening time stated instead of just starting to set things out. I will continue to stay here when I am in the area (usually 2-3 times a year).”
