“Always a great stay at this hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and large rooms. Love the deck off the back of the hotel. Breakfast was good with a good variety. It is a short drive to downtown Galena, but get downtown early as parking is hard to find. My only issue with my stay is the bed is too soft for me. ”

“This is a beautiful and lovingly restored facility in every respect. It has been tastefully updated. It is in a great setting, right on Main Street Cedar Falls. The staff is excellent. The only minus is parking. Overlook that and book, it's a fabulous hotel with lots of character.”

“The mansion was beautiful and decorated Victorian style. Our room had its own A/C unit and attached bathroom with shower and spa tub. Breakfast was a delicious combo of cold buffet and personally served hot ham and egg sandwich. The owner is a great host and happy to tell the history of the house and area. Located in downtown Dubuque and walking distance to restaurants. ”
