“Lovely, quiet cottage in walking distance to the water and downtown Beaufort. Comfortable bed and just the right size for 2 of us. Our only issue was that the shower was either scalding or freezing, it was impossible to regulate. ”

“The cottage was lovely, well decorated and furnished. It was the perfect size for us with a room to spare. We didn’t stay long enough to use the backyard. The location was perfect and a quiet easy walk to downtown. We’d have been happy to stay longer. And would stay again if we come back. Thank you Karen”

“This island is like taking a step back in time. It is quiet and makes you feel as though you are on a private beach. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Our house was clean and everything was easy to navigate. The ferry and land transportation were easy to navigate (we used island head).We will definitely be back! ”

“This was our first trip to Daufuskie and we loved our stay! Jay was a wonderful host and quick to reply to all of our questions! Everything we needed was available for our stay. Only tip I have for guests has nothing to do with the home or the island, but with the Lowcountry Ferry we took from Hilton Head to Daufuskie and back. The passenger fee for the ferry is fair, but the cost to bring supplies (groceries, bikes, extra luggage) was very expensive - much much more than advertised by the ferry...

“The house is as advertised and we loved it. We spent memorial day weekend for a wedding along with our two adult children. Clean, bright, comfortable and stocked with everything we needed including surprising little touches like beach chairs. Immaculately maintained. Really convenient location - we walked everywhere including the wedding and reception. Quiet transitional residential neighborhood. Easy check in and responsive host. Highly recommend this.”
