“We enjoyed ourselves in this lovely home! It was very clean, well organized, and beautifully maintained. Everything was very comfortable. Communication with the owner was also fantastic! The home is also within walking distance of groceries should individuals enjoy cooking. This was a great benefit to us! I would recommend this location to anyone wishing to visit the area! Be sure to curl up on the couch with a cup of hot chocolate and enjoy your shows!”

“The Studio House was an extremely convenient place to stay. It is just five minutes drive from the ferry terminus in St Margarets Hope. The property was just what we wanted. It was extremely clean, very nicely fitted out, and had all the domestic appliances and equipment that we needed for a short stay. Ferry Inn Stromness

10/10 Eccellente

"This is a great family-run hotel whose owners and family work their socks off to ensure you have a nice stay. The highlight of the hotel is restaurant and pub, which serves really lovingly prepared meals using local ingredients, good portions and honest prices. The staff are all really friendly and there’s a great choice of local beers and whiskeys to try. Of course, its location just in front of the port with its ferry terminal and bus centre is also a highlight too - just roll out of bed and you’re ready to go to the major archeological and cultural sites via bus or take a ferry to Hoy. The rooms were functional, the bed comfy, although the extractor fan didn’t work but given the small number of rooms and their constant use in the summer season I think that can be understood and it didn’t impact our stay."

"Pros: excellent location right in front of the ferry to the outer islands; top-notch breakfast in the main hotel, especially the porridge and chia oatmeal pots; really friendly and helpful staff available 24-7 Cons: you are staying in the annexe of the main hotel and that’s not clear from the hotel description which I know isn’t the hotels fault entirely but something to talk to Expedia about. This wouldn’t have been such a problem but upon arrival the shore building is a little worse for wear and the bar there is all closed and shuttered up. The inside of the facility had a slightly musty smell in the corridor and overall the rooms are a little tied and need sprucing up although everything was perfectly functional - the shower worked well and the bed was comfy."

"We were warmly welcomed by the staff on arrival and when they showed us up to the room we fell instantly in love with the sea view. The room was very clean and in good shape. What’s more, we ate in the restaurant and the food was fresh, locally sourced and also great value for money when compared to other local options."
