“The room was clean. Beds were very comfortable. The doors were heavy and slammed shut which was a bit disruptive when trying to sleep. There were three luggage carts and two were triangular in shape and too small to be useful. It would be worth it for the hotel to buy larger more standard sized luggage carts. We saw one large ant crawling on the floor right near the door. A maid happened to walk by when I saw it (we were just entering the room). She was very nice and offered to come back...

“I was in this hotel for a business trip. They have a business center, free wifi, an in house restaurant, and fitness center. It is a good hotel for a business trip. Not near the city center. Walking distance fron Notre Dame University.”

“Breakfast was pay as go despite expedia saying it was included. Parking was a surprise fee, additional, and quite high. Staff at check in and check out were rude, "busy" despite no other guests being present, didn’t even offer token courtesies. Beds were horribly uncomfortable, pillowcases were scratchy and starchy feeling, lights were confusing or didn’t work. Power outlets didn’t charge so plugging anything in was a waste which left me scrambling the next morning. Internet and even basic tv...

“Big disappointment was that there was no hot breakfast bc of the Memorial Day holiday 🙄. The front desk staff both at night and in the morning were just about the friendliest I’ve seen, though. Gave us the sofa bed sheets and extra towels we needed for our group of six. We had a spacious, but dated, room. Importantly, the beds were comfortable and the pillows and bedding were clean and new.”

“We spent two nights and had a pleasant stay overall. Very clean, beds where comfortable and it was quiet at night. The staff went out their way to accommodate us with a crib and Rhea was helpful at the front desk. About a 10 min walk to Notre Dame. Would stay again.”

“The mansion is a beautiful, historic treasure. The bed was very comfortable, the breakfast plentiful and tasty, and the amenities were very nice. The proprietor generously shared her time talking about the history, the community, etc. Highly recommend for those who enjoy indulging in history and beauty during their stay.”
