“Old Showa style minimalistic ryokan, but the room for 5 was spacepus (double room) and the tatami beds and beddings arw comfortable. Self-service to put the futon (which was no problem for us). Power plugs and Wifi were abundant. We were fine with steps but for eldery or disabled it may be a challenge. The hot spring bath was nice. The temperature may be on a hot side but i think it is pretty standard. The tub was indeed made of wood (I assume hinoki).The place seemed to have a fair number of...

“Easy to park. Wife would give it 4 stars. 6 yr old would give 5 stars for the rock climbing wall. No lift for 2nd floor rooms and would have life more space to open suitcases but overall nice place to stay.”

“Zeer sfeervolle ryokan, met een uitstekend diner en ontbijt! Is niet goedkoop maar het geld waard. Er was ook goed rekening gehouden met mijn dieetrestricties.
De mensen zijn heel vriendelijk. 's Morgens prachtig uitzicht!
Enige minpunt voor mij was dat mijn neus helemaal op hol sloeg vanwege het stof. ”

Per chi giunge in auto, comodo parcheggio all'aperto dell'albergo o uno coperto a poca distanza convenzionato. Per visitare Matsumoto questa è un'ottima base. Colazione abbastanza standard e più in linea con i gusti giapponesi. ”

Rooms were comfortable but old fashioned. I would highly recommend the room with a private onsen - we saw tanuke (Japanese raccoon dogs) approach whilst we were bathing which was a really special experience. We hiked to the ridge (5 hours return) through a beautiful forest.”
