“write a short review for the one night stay at hotel. clean friendly good breakfast. I had a great one-night stay at the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, with everything I needed for a relaxing night. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making check-in and check-out smooth and pleasant. Breakfast in the morning was fresh and tasty, with a good variety to choose from. Overall, a short but very pleasant stay—I’d definitely return. ”

“Stayed here on a whim, travel a lot with work and try to pick small independent places where I can, usually with a pub. Unfortunately, the pub was shut as it was a Monday, but I just crossed the road and went there for food and drinks so no problem. The room was beautiful, bright, very clean and very spacious. It looked newly decorated and done very tastefully, felt like I was staying in a stately home, not the local boozer! I mentioned to some locals I was working with that I was staying here...

“A truely lovely pitstop. I was made to feel really welcome from the moment I arrived to the moment I left. Only slight downside was there was no phone signal and the wifi was sketchy, but absolutely perfect to get away from it all. Located in a beautiful area for walking/running/cycling”

“Low season so place was almost empty which is a shame. I had a brilliant stay, room was spotlessly clean and very roomy and comfy. Very cosy. Smashing meal (recommend the curries), nice chat with Abi the owner, smashing chap, nothing too much trouble, same for the staff. I’ll be staying again, highly recommended and wonderful value for money. Oh and don’t pay for parking like I did, it’s free!!”

“I attended a race meeting at Croft circuit. Booked one night in Holiday Inn. About 15mins from the track. It's right on the A1(M) at Scotch Corner. Room was smallish, but reasonable price. Bath has wall shower and handheld. No separate shower. Shampoo etc. provided. The bar is ok, although not so cosy. Shuts at 11pm sharp. Village nearby has a pub. You'll find it if you fancy eating out.”
