“A lovely hotel in a great country setting. Nice grounds and a river at the end of the garden. Hotel nicely decorated and very clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. I only had breakfast at the hotel but that was top notch. I would definately stay there again.”

“Beautiful property and landscaping. Really kind staff, hard-working, but slow service. Which is fine if you are up for a long relaxed meal. Probably a little understaffed.. Everyone worked very hard. Room was very nice but a little dated the bed was slightly soft for my comfort but very rich and historic site. ”

A lovely light,cosy room with everyting needed. There was even a little fridge in the room with fresh milk and bottled water, also a proper jar of coffee, sachets of yorkshire tea and selection of biscuits. We also had a lovely vase of pink carnations in the room.
The garden was so pretty with a little pond and waterfall. I love nature so it was perfect.
Mal was so welcoming and friendly and and an excellent cook. Everything was to such a high...

The location is great, being close to a few larger towns like Driffield and Pocklington, but also close to some amazing walking including a stretch of the Yorkshire Wolds Way. The room was really lovely, the staff friendly, and the food and beer fantastic. We will definitely stay again when we're next out this way! ”

“We booked this property late on Saturday evening as we had a late confirmation on a job to go to locally, we didn`t get confirmation of the job till just before 7pm and then had to drive from Kidderminster, the receptionist stayed on an extra hour to greet us and check us in, absolutely fantastic service.”

Such an awesome, cosy and quaint motel to stay. The breakfast made to order, warm and delicious was an unexpected treat. The waiting/counter staff were wonderful and friendly. Made our 1 night stay simply great and wish for a B&B experience a great one indeed. Room was huge and bathroom so clean. Water pressure was like a waterfall - another welcomed surprise. Thanks!!”
