“Wonderful one-night stay at Ashbourne House. The room was very spacious, well decorated and absolutely spotless. Great attention to detail - there was even a supply of cotton buds and a small sewing kit! Really conveniently located to get to York centre, and the bed was the comfiest I've ever slept in! Will 100% stay here again when visiting York.”

“Cashed in some one key points for night away . Took the scenic route from Gateshead and visited Richmond , Aysgarth Falls , Grassington and Thirsk on the way . Had a couple of beers in the beer garden , freshened up then a gorgeous meal in the orangery. So glad we had booked as they were turning people away ! The staff were excellent- friendly , courteous and attentive. Lovely relaxing night away , helped by the English heatwave .”

“The hotel is located a 15 minute walk into the city but with some restaurants and pubs close bye. It is very clean and well maintained. The breakfast was excellent and so were the staff. Our room was small but adequate and very clean. We would stay there again.”
