Hotel a Kimberton

“The room was as good as the ones in luxury hotels, but I walk with a rollator and it would not fit in the bathroom. The buildings are from 1950 and 1970 and are odd and dated seeming, but interesting in a way. The place is not ADA compliant by any means, and we are handicap, but we managed. The view from the room was wonderful, although with a huge casino in the center of it.”

“Desk clerk (Anthony) actually came out of the building to find me when I had trouble finding the parking annex. Very helpful staff, nice room, inn undergoing renovations and it does need updating.”

“The front desk lady was friendly, but the room was sadly dirty. There was hair throughout the sheets and the sofa was not wiped down from previous occupants. This is miniscule, but the front entrance is the only way to get in. If you have a room towards the back, it will take a few trips especially if in a group.. The elevators were very tiny.”

“Was an okay place to stay. Unfortunately problems the staff had no control over overshadowed. Parking was a problem since there were only 7 spots otherwise you had to find a spot elsewhere. Internet was practically non existent so no tv even though there was a large screen tv. If like me you like to take a bath no stopper in the tub. On the positive side the town is idyllic.”

“The space was just what we needed to rest in the summertime while my kids went to camp at the Brandywine Battlefield. We did have an AC system that did not work until the next to last day and we were given another room. Other than that the pool was great, the breakfast was great, and the hotel was clean.”

“This is an exceptional place to stay. The reason it’s a 4 star not a 5 is because there were A LOT of kids for lacrosse and they screamed in the pool and took over the entire pool and lobby. They ran down the hallways and I feel the staff - who was really phenomenal- should have told the parents (who had no manners) to behave with consideration for all the guests who were staying. The staff did not and the guests including us could not use the pool or sleep until 10:00pm when the pool was...
