“The hall is beautiful with nice gardens and lots of character. Unfortunately the spa was very full and therefore not enjoyable and we had a terrible nights sleep because there is zero soundproofing, we could hear everything from the room above us and any movement in the corridor. “Really nice place to stay, I'd come back for a short stay again. The full English breakfast was good, my friend thought that his pancakes were under done, the scrambled eggs were out of a packet & watery. The bar was well stocked with a reasonable selection of beers. The only downside was that they don't serve food after 1600 on a Sunday. ”

“Pleasant stay. Clean room. A not too loud alarm did disturb our sleep a little but it must have been nothing untoward? - fire regulations said to wait in bedroom until otherwise advised... fortunately no such advice was forthcoming!”

“Comfy room, generous towels. Arrived late Friday evening, no bother getting a table in the pub downstairs for food- they don't take table reservations, so I wasn't at a disadvantage. Good wide choice on the menu and attentive service. There was a nightwatchman for after hours- what a treasure! He showed me how to access once the pub was closed, helped me empty the bags from the car and carried them to our room all with a friendly, nothing was too much trouble approach. Dopo la consegna delle chiavi della stanza e la scelta dell'orario della colazione, per evitare l'affollamento, parte la vostra vacanza. Pulizia e distanziamento sociale garantiti. Non è comunque epoca per accessi assicurati a musei o monumenti. Tanti i percorsi a piedi o in bicicletta, se ne siete forniti. Il luogo è tranquillo e piacevole.”

“Good free breakfast for all guests although we were charged extra by Expedia which was annoying. Dated decor in the rooms but clean bathroom. Our room was very cold and the heating only worked intermittently (we turned the radiator to full but it came on for about an hour one night and roasted us on the final night, two other nights had no heating at all). Parking was ok but we got the last available space on a couple of days after going out… I think you can park in the approach road for free...

“Very basic hotel, requiring refurbishment. The main problem: they offer brekfast using a Gym structure 50-100m away out of the parking. This structure is not suitable for food and the breakfast is very poor and NOT cheap. Apart from this, there is no agreement with the hotel and you have to sign a book each time you enter. Sure I'll NOT came back.”
