“Comfy bed, warm room. Great evening dining choices. Breakfast also good. Staff friendly and helpful. Only negative comment is it would have been good to know in advance that it was a haunted property (most haunted pub in Derbyshire allegedly) rather than finding out on arrival. It freaked me out and I slept poorly. Would have booked elsewhere if I had known. ”

“My first time here, as the hotel in Derby where I usually stay was fully booked. The hotel is 1 mn walk from the train station and 5 mn walk from the shopping centre. If you have a car, there is a nice private car park for the guests. I had a single room. Room was fine to be a single, but the bathroom is very small. Also bed is not very confortable. Very good wi-fi connection. Breakfast was ok and same for the restaurant in the evening”
