Ryokan a Kyoto sud

“The staff were friendly and the location was convenient. The hotel however was very dated and the rooms were basic. Onsen was clean and there was free tea and coffee. If you want a quick easy stop then it’s not too bad but like I said. Basic”

“We had a great stay at Omiya. Yes, the building is old and some parts have seen better days (our tatami floor was very stained). But, the location is fantastic. Close to Kyoto station and less than a 20 min walk from the hustle and bustle - it’s located in a nice and quiet residential area. It’s a cheap stay and the public bath is clean and great (both of us had the male and female baths to ourselves most evenings). Futons are comfy and I’ve slept on the exact same in other ryokan. Pillows can...

“What an incredible place to stay! This is the perfect home base for all your eastern Kyoto adventures. Being just a quick two minute walk to the KH train line makes accessing Fushimi Inari, Kiyomizudera, and Gion super convenient, while at the same time avoiding all the crowds that come with staying at those locations. The property owner was also incredibly helpful! The property itself is amazing. Unlike anywhere I've ever stayed before. The master bedroom has its own rock features! The...

“Staff was very helpful and accommodating. Room was spacious for our group of four. The bathhouse was amazing definitely recommend going late at night so you can enjoy a bit of peace alone.”

“Beside the leaking ceiling, the room was nice. I was upgraded and also the staffs were extremely kind and thoughtful. Gave me a welcome gift while during the stay and it was nice to see child hood snacks at the front. Decoration and the atmosphere were very nice. Over all lived my stay and would come back 20/10.”

Super consigliato ”

“Struttura bellissima in stile tradizionale giapponese.
