Ville a Lake District National Park

“No SPA was available as was advertised.”

“Charming guest house with friendly staff. Great location.”

“We had room 310 it where there are some sort of blowers air con also a fire door is left open and the staff use it come come in and out but the hotel is a great place to stop apart from this”

“Food was fantastic and the staff couldn’t be more attentive. First class”

“Very clean room & beautiful building but quite tired and dated in parts. The bar is ridiculously expensive, £36 for 2 gin & tonics is morally wrong! Also the £25 per night parking charge is ridiculous considering the price you pay to stay in the hotel this should just be included. We parked in railrigg car park and paid £19 for 3 days instead. “The staff were fantastic and despite being warned about building work we needn’t have worried. The food was good both for dinner and breakfast. The spa was especially nice. We were warned it would get busy by the very helpful member of staff but even when busy it was ok. We had a really lovely little break with great views of the lake. All in all worth every penny. Thank you for a wonderful time.”

“Nice large bedroom with view Good location”

“Amazing place to stay. First time staying in a B&B having favoured hotel stays in the past and what a nice change in made. From the warm and friendly welcome and throughout the 3 day stay everything met or exceeded our expectations. The room (Burley) at the top of the house was amazing with a roll top bath in the room, the most comfortable of bed and just the ambiance of the house made the experience even better. Breakfast was lovely and the hosts were super friendly too.”

“The the property and gardens, of course are phenomenal. This is an older. estate property so some issues can be expected with the conditions of the finishes. Unfortunately, with us being seniors, it was very difficult for us to get our luggage to the third floor by stairs. The size of the rooms are also quite small but clean. Furniture in the room was appropriate for the period and comfortable. The staff was very helpful in trying to resolve outside issues such as Parking in town which is not...
