“The room was recently renovated and appreciated. Only thing I’d improve would be the quality of the breakfast.”

“My family and I stayed at this hotel for my graduation. I suggest the rooms should have more safety features on the room doors. The door on the inside has no physical lock expect for the chain. The door has no peep hole so you can see who is on the other side of the door. The vents in the bathroom should be cleaned or covered they drop very gross things as one is showering. I think if you added like a breakfast that be cool. I love how they still have the phone booth and the hotel is close...

“Location is very good and walkable to lots of good restaurants. In my case the downtown hotels were very expensive so the guesthouse seemed like a good deal in comparison. As long as you have expectations in check (it's a kitschy if not sort of an odd property) then I think it's a very solid choice. We found it to be clean and the staff tried very hard. My son was a little taken aback by it and didn't love the boarded up / semi burned building next door... That said it seemed like a safe...

“The things I really liked about this hotel were that it was clean without smelling of industrial fragrance, it was quiet when we were trying to sleep, and it was conveniently located near the highway. “This place is better than a back alley, but not by much. Weekend before Memorial day boiler still on and the room was 85 degrees had to open the door windows turn on the air it did not cool down until the next night. Cockroaches, they do not change the sheets inbetween guest, only thing the guy cleaning the room came out with are the towels, but i guess pretending to wash them works. Do not even ask about the bathroom, you are banging your knees to sit down and i think the shower was last used...

“The room was spacious and immaculate. The food was delicious. The grounds and all well maintained. My only complaint is the beds are hard. At 1 AM, I took the quilt out of the duvet cover and laid it on top of the bottom sheet to help pad the mattress. It wasn't great but it was much better. But everything else was stellar.”
