“Other than the night paving project taking place outside the hotel, the stay was okay. The hotel is not responsible for the timing of the project, but it might be mindful to assign rooms furthest from the main drag.”

I always have given my license when asked at hotel but have never seen it kept like that. My room was 316. Went up to the 3rd floor and could not find my room. “Out of the way location, so it was quite quiet. The pool was closed for some unknown reason. I stayed on the first floor and I could hear people walking on the floors above me, so if you consider yourself a light sleeper, this may not be the place for you unless you’re on an upper floor.”

“This property is dated but was very comfortable for our 4 day stay. Everything in our room was in good working order. The breakfast was good too. The on site restaurant closed too early which was disappointing . The staff was helpful and kind good people work there!!”

His advice made our stay even more enjoyable. The room was clean and comfortable, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations. “I was thrilled with the location. Very short walk into town, and had plenty of parking. Checking in was a breeze by just using codes to the doors. My first impression walking into the building was that it smelled VERY clean. My room was spotless, bright and charming. I stayed in Room #8, and it was the perfect size for a single or a couple. The ONLY thing I wish it had was a blow dryer, but that is a VERY minor mark. 5 stars all around, and will stay here again!”

“The room was fine, comfy beds, the towels were the best we’ve ever had anywhere, but the bathroom was not the best. Everything was so low (toilet and sink area). Another update that should be made is more outlets for people’s phones and watches. It was difficult to find a plug close to the bed so I could see the time and use my alarm. The outlet my watch was plugged into, did not hold the cord and my watch was not charged this morning. Otherwise, it was a fine room.”

“Good location for a quiet place. This is an okay summer stop. No AC on a hot June day was hard as well as it was very buggy inside the windowsills. I realize it is more of a rustic, true Vermont lodge idea just wanted people to be aware. I am sure in the fall and winter when it is busier it is a completely different location.”

“We had a wonderful weekend. Inn is a little dated but very cute. Room was clean and we sat out on our balcony with wine at night and coffee in the morning. Needed a dusting but comfortable. I would stay there again and recommend it to those traveling. Great location.”

“The continental breakfast was good - a variety of fresh baked goods, yogurts, fresh fruits, granola, teas, and the coffee was excellent! It would have been nice to enjoy a hot breakfast on the cold and gloomy morning that we were there, though. We enjoyed meeting our friendly host, Joe, and had a nice conversation with him as he explained the history of the property and some future kitchen renovations he has in the works. Parking was no problem - plenty of space, well-lit, felt absloutely...
