“The resort definitely needs some TLC, since it's been up for sale needed updates and repairs are just not happening. Having said that the place is comfortable and clean and the staff are fantastic. We were a bit disappointed that the restaurant is now only open on Friday and Saturday nights but understandable considering how quiet the place is through the week. “First of all the location is excellent… right in the middle of the rainforest, although the drive up there is not for the faint hearted. My room was very basic, which was expected. The thing I didn’t like was that the door to the deck didn’t seal at all, so when the wind blew at night it rattled the blinds and kept me awake. Parking spots are very tight for even a modest size car. Food options were limited and expensive. If you are not in a self catering unit you run out of choices quickly. I...

“Such a relaxing stay in these very private, very large motel-room like 1/2 cabins that have their own carport and covered outside sitting area. Loved looking out over the green grassy slope and seeing kangaroos morning and late afternoon. A very quiet and peaceful place. Bonus having an amazing restaurant here too.”

Our stay was short due to other committments during the day but by night it was so peaceful. We bonded because of no wi-fi which was great not having kids or us on technology. Different experience for us from our normal hotel/motel stay but we loved it. ”

“We had an amazing one night stay at the Polish Place. The cabin was exactly as expected and had everything we needed. The only difficulty we had was check in. We are traveling internationally and needed WiFi to get updates as no one was at reception at 2:00 pm. Luckily a local winery saved the day with WiFi and the trip was smooth after that. Would definitely stay here again!”
