“First of all the location is excellent… right in the middle of the rainforest, although the drive up there is not for the faint hearted. My room was very basic, which was expected. The thing I didn’t like was that the door to the deck didn’t seal at all, so when the wind blew at night it rattled the blinds and kept me awake. “This is basic, but also the smell was disgusting. Every time I walked into my room there was a wall of wet carpet/wet dog smell. What was beyond frustrating was I had to compromise my privacy to get fresh air in there. That is to say, the windows were sealed shut, and the only way to get any air in was have my door open. “This was a great little spot. We only had one night here before heading up to Brisbane but would happily have stayed longer. The rooms were good sizes, beds were comfortable, shower pressure was amazing. A short stroll up the road to some yummy eateries and a supermarket. There was a bit of noise- friday night so thats probably expected, but other than that I cant really fault it.”

“We had an amazing one night stay at the Polish Place. The cabin was exactly as expected and had everything we needed. The only difficulty we had was check in. We are traveling internationally and needed WiFi to get updates as no one was at reception at 2:00 pm. Luckily a local winery saved the day with WiFi and the trip was smooth after that. Would definitely stay here again!”
