Hotel a Leawood

“Many things to like: newish hotel with modern decor, comfy bed, nice bathroom, environmentally friendly ethos. A couple misses: for a hotel that touts environmentally astute choices, the breakfast that was mostly packaged highly processed food was pretty disappointing. The much touted espresso machine was available 24/7....but out of order. The coffee in urns was fine, but nothing but fake creamer to put in it (i did eventually find some actual milk ostensibly for the cereal. ”

“I didn’t like that there was construction going on, on the property itself. But that being said, the completed part of the property was really nice. I visited during the early spring so the pool was closed. But it looked really nice. No chairs to sit around it though. Now, for the bad news! I’ll say this the staff was polite and all but, the first room they gave me already had someone in it. Luckily, they weren’t in the room at the time cause that would’ve been a situation I wouldn’t know how...

“Ice machine a long way from room. Coffee from a machine was not very tasty. The shower was difficult to shut off,had to call maintenance.Breakfast was middle of the road.”

“Clean room. Won some money at the casino too. Wish they had some events or clubs or something to make it fun it was boring. The walk was long to get food and stuff and no smoking rooms”

“Clean, comfortable room, with modern decor and microwave and refrigerator in the room. Good breakfast with a variety of offerings, hot items hot, cold items cold. Nicely arranged. Very helpful and polite front desk staff.”

“I was in a room next to the pool area… heard every scream, water splash, etc. they were kind to allow me to no e my room, but my room had ants”

“Staff checking us in had a demeanor that she wanted to be somewhere else. When I notified her that the women’s bathroom was out of toilet paper she shrugged it off with no acknowledgement of received the information. The tile floor throughout the lobby to the elevator and in the elevator was filthy and shows stuck to it. Breakfast was good in the morning and I believe we interrupted the staff coming in to eat the leftovers during break despite a half hour left for guests as they all scattered...

“Absolutely no issues with the facilities; clean, new, spacious, great rates, cozy lobby area and great little breakfast/area. Only small snag was the unwillingness to put our parties’ 2 rooms close or at least on the same floor, either beforehand or at check-in (after telling me on the phone they couldn’t do it until we were there). We ended up on 2 different floors, didn’t seem at any point that they were ever going attempt to put the rooms close. Would still stay here again!”

“Shower drain was clogged. Staff at front desk said they could not do upgrade because of full capacity but the parking lot was almost empty when we left.”
