“Amazing views from the place and a very cosy little apartment for two maybe a little bit less clutter and wires around the house would’ve been nicer. There is no need for so many gadgets like sky box BT players CD players music hi-fi.”

“A gorgeous tastefully decorated hotel absolutely immaculate. Staff welcoming. We went out of season and it was so peaceful stayed in the stargazer room with beautiful views of hills. Would definitely return and grassmere village is just lovely ”

“The breakfast was superb. We tried the evening menu special which was a Pheasant breast.It wasn't the best I've tasted, it was nicely presented but it was rather salty and dry. The bed mattress provided a good nights sleep and the room was spacious and clean. Well worth the 5 stars”

“I had a lovely stay at The Three Shires Inn which is in the lovely, quiet spot in the middle of the countryside. Loved seeing the mountains and sheep. I would highly recommend.”

“Our room was on ground floor with a hot tub. Facilities were good and the bed was very comfortable. Some elements were a little tired. Staff were outstanding and responsive to all requests and questions. Nice dining area and presentation. Great central location to Grasmere village. Our only issue is that parking can be a lottery - but staff were happy to help.”

“The room was clean and spacious with lovely views of the lake, the food was delicious especially the buffet breakfasts and the staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. Overall it was a really enjoyable 4 night break and we will definitely be returning.”
