“This was a fun place to stay while visiting the battle field. The village was very interesting with many small shops. The room appeared to be recently renovated and staying above a pub was a fun experience. The pub itself was also excellent. Our only complaint was lack of air conditioning...which resulted in us opening a window...and listening to traffic (the road out front is very busy) All-in-all, I would strongly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area”

“This is our go-to lodging when attending the opera at Glyndebourne. A wonderful, country house in Uckfield, set on beautiful, expansive private grounds. “Our second stay at Buxted Park. It is a beautiful Country house hotel with stunning grounds. The room was very comfortable with quality bedding, robes and slippers, a balcony and view to the lawn. There was a wedding while we were there but still a quiet stay. The reception staff were lovely, polite and very helpful too. I would come back again.”

"Al netto di qualche piccola pecca nella pulizia della stanza (letto e bagno erano okay, ma abbiamo trovato MM's sul pavimento...), la stanza era comoda e con vista sull'ingresso dell'autodromo, arredata in stile racing e piuttosto silenziosa. Siamo rimasti solo una notte di passaggio, per cui non abbiamo sfruttato Spa e altri servizi, ma tutto sommato, e considerando anche l'ottimo prezzo, un'esperienza che rifarei"
