“Sun Mountain Lodge knows they're the only game in town as one of the supposedly nicer lodges at a great location, so they don't put effort in the guest experience and quite frankly, seem unhappy and overworked. “Room was not cleaned. Check in is at a different location, so not easy to go back to the other property for assistance. They did try to accomodate another room right away. Also had booked a cabin with a fireplace on Expedia, but they only get notified that you book a cabin. Be careful if you're booking the cabin with pull out couch due to having 3 people. Bed was comfortable, but linens were not very soft. Kitchen was well stocked. ”

“We had a wonderful stay in the Arnica Cabin! The temperature outside was in the high 90s, but the temperature inside was very cool and comfortable due to the AC. We found everything we needed right there in this new and comfortable "cabin." Even a drawer for a dog bowl! We enjoyed the short walk to town. This is the perfect spot for a winter cross country skiing vacation....and just a quick walk to the skating rink. Thank you for an enjoyable 2-night stay.”
