“The outside looks great but once I opened the door to our room we were greeted with the strong horrible smell of cat urine!!!! Had to use half the bottle of dawn air freshener to get the room to a tolerable smell. The tv in the bedroom only had 4 working channels and the tv in the living room had no working remote! Pool was great and will stay for breakfast maybe I’ll add another review if it’s great if not won’t be another review.”

“Unfortunately, this was one of the least enjoyable hotel stays we’ve had. The room appeared old, poorly maintained, and not very clean. The pillowcases looked worn and stained, the carpet felt dirty, and several of the bed linens were torn. The bathroom was especially disappointing. “The bed didn't have a comforter, only a thin blanket and a sheet. The bedsheet itself had a stain on it. The mattress feels like its caving in on itself, so you sink into the middle of it. The bathroom ceiling fan was the loudest and most useless thing in the room. Nothing wrong with a 1980 non-modernized hotel room, but it makes it feel old, crusty, and musty in the room. “We found the location excellent, as we were expected to arrive at the Twilight Riverboat two-day excursion the next day at 7:30 am. After the boat tour, we stayed another night, seeing it was after 6 pm and a little late to head back to Wisconsin.”

“The 1st thing you notice when entering to check in is that the place smelled like cigarette smoke. I guess they still allow smoking in the casino. Fortunately, I couldn't smell it in the room. The room had a mini-fridge that I used for leftovers, but there was no place to reheat them. I had to take them to the front desk to have them heat them up for me in the back. “No toilet paper or towels.... super old property with the oldest comforter and pillows ive ever seen. I just wanted to get outs there.”

“No breakfast, had cereal and no milk, asked and they appologized and did not have any. Only breakfast was a loaf of bread and a toaster with peanut butter. No coffee. This was at 7am. room was dirty and had hair in shower, beds where made poorly. T.v did not work and lights flickered. Worst hotel i have ever stayed at. ”

“The age of this hotel shows. A fresh coat of paint and some minor fixture repairs would go a long way. Helpful staff added a lot to the stay. The free breakfast was OK, not great.”

“The front desk staff answered all my questions and were helpful. The room I stayed in was quiet and clean. It had a no frills vibe. I did like the hand soap they provided. My hands felt soft and clean after using it. Outside the hotel in front it looked like work was being done on other businesses. The outside had a sketchy vibe, but I didn’t experience any issues.”

“We have stayed at this location multiple times and have enjoyed every stay. The rooms were clean, the breakfast was good, and the staff was very friendly. We were there over Memorial Day Weekend, and there were little league teams and the boys were running around the whole hotel, so it was loud. The pool is a little cold, but the hot tub is great.”
