Hotel a Miles

“Decent rate and adequate lodging. I'd stay there again except Clinton Iowa has a BO problem.”

“Quiet. Clean. Nice location away from odors near factories in Clinton.”

“Not much at breakfast bar. In fact hardly anything”

“We were greeted with friendly and very helpful staff from the minute we walked in the doors. He even helped us with our luggage, and phoned us after we left to be sure we had a pleasant stay at his hotel - Budget Inn in DeWitt Iowa. We would recommend staying at this place, and we will stay here again in the future.”

“Clean spacious room. Good breakfast”

“Loved the jetted tub...This was the first time I ever experienced one!!! I made certain almost daily I was inside! Staff was courteous and helpful. Quiet, spacious. Solo traveler.”

“Historic charm, great value — we'd stay again For Sure! Stayed Saturday night for $82. Such a quaint, old-world stay. The Decker House (built 1876-78, Italianate, on the National Register, 17 rooms with the grand staircase from local woods) is gorgeous — original woodwork, metal cornices, right at the top of Main Street and 5 minutes to Maquoketa Caves. Room was spotless and comfortable, staff was friendly, location and value are excellent. Only reason I'm marking amenities 3/5 is breakfast...

“WE WERE DISAPPOINTED IN THE LACK OF DAILY HOUSEKEEPING.MY WIFE MADE BED AND CHASED STAFF FOR CLEAN TOWELS.NO STAFF TRASH PICKUP,MY WIFE TOOK IT OUT.WE WERE USED TO GETTING OUR BEDS MADE AND DAILY ROOM CLEANING.”

“Everything was amazing”

“Sad to say it was run down and in bad shape. Window broken, just taped.Holes in the wall.Crack in the bottom of the bathtub, didn't even want to take a bath or shower, also dirty. Carpet stained and there as a musty smell. The only time you got staff you had to dial 0 on the desk phone.”

“Minimal amenities but clean and quiet.”

“Perfect, safe place for a senior women’s getaway. All on one floor. Plenty of beds and 2 large bathrooms as well as a seating area to catch up with each other. The man at the desk was very helpful and friendly.”
