“Staff was very friendly, breakfast was hot and well stocked, clean room, parking was convenient but lots of potholes”

“This is not your typical hotel stay, so when I say everything was well maintained, service was good, etc, it accounts for the fact it is a very old home with some original or era appropriate things (such as old doornobs which my daughter commented on), and that it is a true B&B so it is their home and they have lives and it is not a standard hotel setting (they had a hair dryer, just not in every bathroom). “The room appeared clean when I entered. The room was very damp, most likely from the A/C running and set to a low temperature. I had a room with two queen beds; The bed I chose to sleep in was closest to the window. Once I got into the bed I noticed a strong body odor. I couldn't tell if the odor as from the sheets or in the mattress. I changed to the other bed, and it appeared to be ok.”

“We stayed here overnight for 4th weekend. The property was very clean, staff was kind and welcoming. We have a dog and there are two places for restroom with doggie bags and a trash can! They even give you a door tag to let the cleaners know you have a dog. We also got welcome and departure water bottles, which was amazing after and before a day of travel. “The staff members that we did interact with were phenomenal! Very friendly, very helpful. I loved that they offered different breakfast options every morning as well. The room we stayed in appeared to have been very quickly cleaned up, very recently. There was toilet paper still in the peephole from the previous guest, and just didn’t feel CLEAN clean. “Overall the experience was good. My only issues were that my window ended up facing another building. I didn't mind it too much so it wasn't a huge issue. Just a heads up for others that it may be a possibility. The other issue was that the exhaust in the bathroom runs non-stop. There is no switch to turn it off.
