“The room was nice the breakfast was tasty the price is great. ”

“Great place to stay while visiting colleges with my daughter. Close to both St. Olaf and Carleton. Front desk staff was kind to lend us an umbrella when it looked like rainy for our college tour.”

“Sadly, the room was not very clean, the a/c heater unit only worked on fan. The buttons to adjust heat and cooling and on/off were gone. Had to unplug it to keep cold air from blowing all night. Got down to 26 degrees outside at night. Room was chilly. No hair dryer. Half used container of shower gel. Stained towels. Funky smell. Have upcoming business this summer in Northfield, but won't be coming back to this hotel.”

“Went on a little get away for my sons birthday but when we got there they tell us after checking in that the pool and hot tub are out of service,room was ok first thing i see is the housekeeper wants a tip second thing i see is a giant cob web next to the couch,doesnt really scream cleanliness! Hallways stank like dank,ofcourse i know people are going to smoke it up but have a better filtration system or something, i would give it 2 out of 10...will definitely not be going back!”

“Everything was great at this location. My only hang up was how small the room was. Comfortable bed, good water pressure, quiet, clean, lots of dining and shopping options within walking distance, economical and most notably....EXCELLENT staff!”

“My overall impression was just “meh”. There was no one monitoring the front desk. Finally saw a tiny sign that said to call 0 for help. So I did from the landline on the desk. After ringing for quite a while a man came from the back dressed like a mechanic. He had on a company shirt, but didn’t look professional and didn’t act particularly professional. No greeting. Hardly any engagement. The whole hotel desperately needs to be updated. The dishwasher was running loudly when we got to our room...
