“Very unique check in experience and service and views are great. The only issue I had was the ac in room cannot be calibrated to cool meaning that the room is excessively hot. Even though it’s cold outside it would be good to give guest flexibility to change to aircon to a comfortable temp in the room. (It is an in room control, but the hotel locks out the function and only allows for hot air to be used)….”

“This is a gem of a hotel. Located on the edge of the lake with an amazing view. The hotel has a genuine Japanese vibe. The rooms have baths with hot spring water. The hotel staff have variable english skills but they are very helpful. The nearby village has lots of great restaurants. 30 minute drive to Rusutsu.”

“Big room, clean and tidy Dinner is quite good, not much choice for breakfast, but it’s fine Very nice staffs Onsen facilities are nice with reasonable size The most valuable - they offer sake at lobby for whole day. And free draft beer at dinner. FYI, there are few stairs at lobby.”

“We booked Room C and we stayed at Room B, not sure about the difference but the sauna didn't work which was disappointed. We notified the owner and we didn't get any compensation. ”

“Loved this place! Very nice to have an onsen in the building. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was amazing. Not much around in the town, but it was a nice break. Also really enjoyed the Japanese style room. Plenty of space and beautiful view of the ocean! ”
