“Our Victorian King Suite had a large deck that faced the ocean wharf and had especially amazing view of the sunsets. Nice deck furniture to relax and take in the peaceful atmosphere. We also had the restful sound of ocean waves breaking in the wharf overnight that we could hear from the bed. The suite had a separate area for the king bed and small kitchen. “Our stay in Mendocino was excellent. The room was extremely clean, check in was seamless, breakfast was brought to our door (Wow) and was tasty. The location made movement in Mendocino easy and while the weather wasn't conducive to sitting outside, the courtyard was lovely and would have been a great place to hang out. Finally, we were treated to a wine and cheese happy hour each day. The experience was worth the price of admission.”

“What an amazing find! Great layout so pretty much everyone gets a view - common area is perfect for beach gazing and sunsets. Check in process was easy and the staff very responsive and helpful. Make sure you have everything you might need because it’s not close to stores (I consider that a huge plus) I can’t wait to stay here again!!! ”

“The Headlands Inn has an ideal location; close to downtown, the coastal beach area, and fine dining. John welcomed us and helped answer several questions during our stay. The two breakfasts were outstanding, and the cookies put out in the afternoon were delicious. The room was quiet and comfortable. We were quite pleased with our choice of bed and breakfast.”

“The management and staff were quite lovely. We had to leave a day early because of a family issue at a wedding, and I broke down in front of the man there and he was SO KIND! (Which made me cry even more) A lovely location, and we loved the gazebo! ”
