“Very unique property, loved the history. Rooms were very beautiful and quiet. Only drawback parking was a fee and bar hours were not as advertised. We got in late and wanted a drink but they closed early. Other than that would definitely stay again.”

“The room was ok, Beds were clean and comfortable. Did see some water stains on the carpet around the sink and the bathroom wall looked like it needed to be repaired. looks like it had been wet and was not in good shape.”

“They started laying carpet and had blocked the doorway. They were so helpful and very concerned about my safety. (I use a cane). They helped me get the luggage cart from the entry, over the blocked doorways and back out to the lobby after I had loaded it. The desk manager helped me take the cart akk the way to my car and helped me Unload it. He definitely went beyond with kindness. I am already booked in for my return trip home. Excellent halfway point between my friends home and mine.”

About 7:15, a friendly worker called to see if we meant to return the keys, as we had a second night booked. We hadn't realized, but did mean to turn them in. “Such a great hotel: we were driving for hours and needed a clean, safe place to stay last minute with two kids. The hotel is modern and very clean, the pool was super fun for the kids and I was super impressed by all the stuff. The front desk people were super nice at check and check out and the lady responsible for serving breakfast was exceptionally friendly, caring and kind. “You get what you pay for. The room was cheap, but the guy at the front desk had zero customer service skills. It took us a literal 30 minutes to get into the room after 3 trips back and forth with problems with the key, until he finally switched our room to another one. It was also dirty. The breakfast area had broken tables (like the marble tops were chipped enough you’d scrape your arm on them) and cracked leather seats, and the back of the booth next to us had stuff caked all over it. “Ever since I attended a race nearby, I don’t even bother looking at other businesses. I just need a bed for a few nights and staff’s super helpful and nice. The one note I’d say is my room had a small shower, it was a bit hard to move around.”

“Room was perfect for an overnight stay. I checked in early evening on a Saturday evening and it was pretty noisy from the street and nearby businesses. But all that pretty much comes to a halt after 9 pm as these are businesses that close by then. My room was clean and the bed was comfortable. They do not serve breakfast but the coffee is excellent!”

“I love the fact that it was secured and that we could do a 4 a.m. check in when we got off the highway. Staff was friendly. Rooms were spacious and the beds were comfy. Convenient location. I would book again.”
