“Tries to be something more than it is. Property is nice, but the staff, although nice, could use some work in terms of how to work in a supposedly luxury hotel.”

“Large room, very helpful staff, clean, $10 uber ride to downtown, safe and great breakfast. Extra care on French toast for my daughter with celiac (very sensitive) was very appreciated.”

“The Manor is well kept. The breakfast was nice, there was cereal, bread, bagels, croissants, jam, peanut butter, cream cheese, fresh fruit, yogurt, cheese, coffee, tea, juices. Served in a cozy kitchen that sat 13 people..a great opportunity to meet people and chat. There was always someone there on staff to ensure the breakfast was was stocked and answer questions. We met Brenda (owner) and had a great chat. (Fellow hockey parents😊) Our room was the Twillingate on the 3rd floor (lots of steps)...

“The room was clean and modern. Staff was helpful and kind. Only downside of the property is that there is a nightly charge for parking.”

“Check in staff were great and allowed us to check in early which was great, however the staff and service at the restaurant was just terrible overall, so I’ll leave it at that. Overall the hotel is showing its age and is obviously due for an upgrade/ refresh. Definitely not up to “Sheraton” standards that’s for sure. It’s definitely not the same Hotel Newfoundland it used to be that’s for sure.”

“Perfect cozy stay! The space was large enough for two, private, and the location was perfect! Near enough to be accessible to everything, but far enough away to avoid noise and traffic. Space was perfectly decorated! We loved that there was no TV! Staff was also very helpful!”

“Few reminders, Cleaning is every other day, unless you request it. So be aware. Breakfast menu is almost the same every day. Could get boring if you stat long.”
