“Loved the whole vibe of the house - very cool older home details and the back porch was an amazing spot to watch the waves break on the lake - it was a cold weekend so didn’t get to spend too much time on the beach but it was just a short walk from the house. “The hotel was good, and the spa was 100% worth it! The staff was rough. We’ve been Marriott members for a long time, and when we travel, we stay at the JW, W, or Ritz. We came to Chicago to go to Beyond Wonderland, and then we’re out till 2 or 3am experiencing Chicago night life. The hotel staff woke us up every morning at 7:30 or before by coming into the room that had a “do not enter” sign on the outside of the door. The morning we were leaving, we were walked in on three times before checkout...
