“The bed was very comfortable and the room was okay - at least I felt safe. However, checking in was awkward because I arrived 20 minutes before check-in time and was told by someone at a kiosk that they needed to see if the room was ready and would call me. “I booked this room for location, price on a last minute price/availability needed stay, and after reading reviews that were positive. Unfortunately, I’m not sure what the positive reviews were based on. If it was on the bed alone, I agree, it was a clean place for me to lay my head for 7 hours. But the entire hotel was old, the rooms are in desperate need of repairs and cleaning. The bathroom ceiling was full of black mold. And for a non-smoking hotel, the hallways all reeked of cigarette smoke....

Complimentary drinks was not as accessible- someone goes around with a drink cart rather than a permanent soda/coffee station. “Inexpensive doesn’t have to mean bad service, bad quality. The rooms smell so much like smoke although they are non-smokers. They never once went to clean the room after asking them too. We couldn’t get fresh towels. The tub in the bathroom leaked all the water when showering. The noise is really bad, other rooms having music super loud at 2-3 in the morning. And after talking to the receptionist they said nothing could have been done. Breakfast is not so great, the food is so dry and very hard...
