“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! There were a few cobwebs in the corners, the ocean facing doors do not work as pictured, and there are no ocean views from the hot tub as represented in the listing, but these are minor notes on an overall wonderful week. The location is excellent--quiet and set apart, but near enough to redwoods, towns, and wineries to venture out with ease. We spent hours watching the waves and the sky from the deck. Beautiful!”

“The cabin is very private with incredible outdoor spaces to sit and enjoy the Smith River. The cabin is clean, bed is comfy, and amenities are everything you could need. The outdoor space is very pet friendly but dogs should be leashed not fenced. Our Golden had a great time swimming. The private beach is amazing with pristine waters. This is our second stay.”

Close to town, but the property is super private with beautiful landscaping and plenty of parking. Everything inside is well thought out and the decor is lovely. “This quiet and cozy setting in the forest provided a wonderfully restful experience. The cottage is well-stocked, clean and beautifully built. The furnishings are very comfortable. The owners obviously put much love and attention to every detail which makes this rental our most favorite ever. The outdoor showers were unique and fun. The location is amazing, being between Mendocino and Fort Bragg, so we could explore both areas easily. We would love to visit again.”

“Used this place for a couple nights exploring the Redwoods National and State Parks. Was great to use a base for exploring as it had a built in bathroom compared to other options with communal bathrooms. Location was easy to find right off the highway. Shower and other utilities worked great, just were a bit small but that is nitpicking. There was a weird smell when I first got there but used an air freshener and it cleared right up. Overall happy with my experience! ”
