“Our stay at this boutique hotel was exactly what we needed — quiet, relaxing, and full of small coastal charms. The property offers lovely sprinkled ocean views throughout, giving us just the right touch of seaside atmosphere without being right on the beach. Self check-in was incredibly easy and made arrival stress-free. Everything was clear, and we felt welcomed even without onsite staff. One of the biggest highlights for us was how dog-friendly the property is — our pup felt just as at home...

“This cottage is a great place to stay along California's North Coast. The location is convenient to the ocean and the redwoods (which are just spectacular). The cottage itself is well equipped, comfortable, and just as advertised. Oh and you may be greeted by a cute age friendly cat, Lil Guy (not sure if he's the owner's). ”

“This VRBO was a dream — spacious, quiet, and thoughtfully designed down to every detail. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the fully-equipped kitchen was perfect for cooking, and the deck was a beautiful place to relax with coffee and a book. Everything felt intentional and high quality, from the linens to the lighting. Melinda & Jerry are also fantastic, generous and responsive hosts! ”

“The loft was lovely. It was foggy Friday night but on Saturday night the fog cleared and we were able to see the stars through the moonroof so we went outside and sat in Adirondack chairs and looked at the stars. Sunday morning before we left we took a walk through your beautiful garden is very peaceful. Thank you so much for a beautiful place to stay on the coast.”

“Beautiful guest home sharing the property with the main house. It’s set back in a quiet neighborhood, but close driving distance to things like restaurants and groceries. Comfortable, quiet, and close enough to everything to make it convenient. We hope to come back again.”

“Cute little cottage with everything needed for a short stay. Kids had lots of fun seeing the chickens and feeding the alpacas. Campfire kit was perfect. Very short drive from the highway yet feels like it is super secluded. Kids are asking to go back again already. Thanks!”

“A clean cottage, unusually well appointed with household conveniences. The location was ideal to see sights within Humboldt county. The setting was a plus, with huge views of the city and bay yet it was in a quiet corner of town. ”

“Perfect stay in walking distance to the cozy centre of Ferndale. Our host Uffe was so nice and he is Dane like us, so we we had some good talk. The apartment was very cozy and decorated in Danish old traditional style. When we woke up in the morning there was Elks in the garten which was more a pleasure for us than for Uffe and his Wife. We will give this cute and quit place our hugest recommendations.”

“The place is as beautiful as the pictures. Great location-- .4 mile walk to downtown. The amenities are the best I've experienced--bathrobes, amazing snacks and high-quality breakfast stocked in the fridge. Small, but fully-operable kitchen. And very kind hosts!”

“Beautiful property with a private guest house in the Redwood State Park area. The hosts were available if needed but gave us privacy. The guest house had everything we needed to enjoy our visit to the Redwood Parks. Would definitely book again if in the area. ”

“This little house was absolutely lovely! The views are amazing - you are literally right on the cliffside and have a view of the ocean from the living room and the bedroom. It's got a decent kitchen, and a great bathtub. It's also only 2 miles from Pt Cabrillo lighthouse, so you can easily walk there. Great stargazing, too. One of the best places I've stayed!”

“Proximity to the wedding made this place a good choice. We would stay here again, but would like the bathroom door to be rehung—when it’s open it blocks access to the bathroom sink. ”

"Ci hanno avvertito all’arrivo che la struttura non prevedeva le pulizie giornaliere. Ci siamo accordati per pulizia dopo 3 giorni ma nessuno è venuto a pulire. Inoltre la wifi saltava in continuazione. I canali tv si scollegavano dipo 10 minuti di visione e quando abbiamo chiesto spiegazione, la risposta della reception è stata che lei non guardava mai la tv! Insistendo perché mettessero a posto il problema, ci ha detto di provare a spegnere e riaccendere (che ovviamente non ha risolto nulla. Infine in bagno l’acqua era sempre bollente, anche se il rubinetto era impostato su fredda. Peccato perché il posto era carino, ma i servizi sono stati pessimi"
