“This is a beautiful property near the Avenue of the Giants. The king plus bunk bed room was enormous. The style is like an early 1900's mansion/castle, the room decor matched, but it didn't feel at all run down or aged. The bed was very comfortable. It had a bunk bed in a separate room for my two kids. The grounds are just as amazing as the hotel. You can walk around and check out the river. We are a great breakfast on the huge back patio. “We loved our time at the Gingerbread mansion. Oliva was an amazing host. Breakfast prepared each day was some of the best we have had. Snacks provided at tea time each day were also a big perk. The mansion was such a cozy experience. We loved our time spent at the mansion as well as exploring the town of Ferndale. Hiking and exploring the town made our time there very memorable. I fear future B&Bs may be ruined for me as this was my first time experiencing a true B&B experience and any future...
