“This hotel is very old and not well maintained. We have stayed at many historic properties that have been well cared for but this was definitely not one of them. We actually did not stay here. After checking in and seeing the room we left and went to another hotel. The lobby and room has an old, musty smell. The room was dark and dingy. The carpets were very worn in the lobby and in the room. The property looks much better in the photos than it does in real life. We were very disappointed that...

“Beautiful setting. Classic. Food is wonderful. Staff always very helpful but they could have staffed a bit differently to be sure there was always a person close by. Need to beef up gift shop. It’s the Inns 100th birthday and not a piece of clothing, hat or gift to commemorate this landmark. How about Winston teddy bears? Truly loved our stay.”

“Our stay was only for one night, but we really enjoyed it. The house is in a beautiful location, and the view from the balcony was spectacular. We especially loved the privacy, with no nearby neighbors. The house was very clean, spacious, and had plenty of room for everyone. We would definitely stay here again.”

Beautiful views from within the house, but also deck had a lovely table and chairs. There was a clean and modern kitchen with all conveniences. Communication with owner was prompt and helpful. ”
