“Friendly and professional staff. Nicely maintained grounds - grass cut, floral arrangements. Clean room, welcome note. Security measures in effect. This motel is an excellent choice in the quaint town of Palmerston in the heart of farm/mennonite Ontario. Close to restaurants and relatively close to other tourist towns of interest including Arthur and St. Jacobs. We recommend”

“Front desk staff was very pleasant and helpful. Rooms are "basic and a little tired" but clean. We came for Stratford Festival so we only slept here. Reasonably priced for that purpose. Air conditioning worked well. Room temperature was perfect. Lots of parking. Nice that they have complimentary coffee and tea”

“Beautiful home, ensuite washrooms were blessed because of sharing with other guests. The breakfasts and snacks were delicious as well, lots of selection. Comfy beds, its was quiet, we didn't find out about the beautiful backyard and balcony until right as we were about to leave otherwise we would have liked to hang out there for a bit to relax. If we ever find ourselves needing to be in the area overnight we'll definitely be staying there again!”

“Staff was friendly during check-in and check-out, very quick, too. The room was large and clean. Beds were queen sized. There was a microwave and a refrigerator. Air conditioning worked well. Bathroom was updated. Shampoo and soap, and hair dryer were provided. Location was excellent, on the road out of town, and 5 minutes from downtown. The one improvement I would like to see is a coffee maker in the room.”

“This motel is a real gem. The owners have been operating it for almost 30 years, and you'd never know the motel was that old. Our room was clean, well maintained and spacious. The grounds are picturesque. The owners are super friendly, and I actually observed an interaction between one of them and an employee, and she was kind to her employee. That speaks volumes to me. While I can't imagine having cause to visit Stratford overnight again, if we do, we are definitely staying at the Suburban...

“The property was clean and very well located, very close to downtown. Staff were courteous and responsive but I found check-in and check-out info a bit confusing. The room was very small, the bathroom tiny with a pillar obtruding into the middle of it. The sink is outside the bathroom in the room itself. It was fine for one night but overpriced for what it was - a bit shabby rather than charming or characterful. You have to pay extra to park your car, and in our room the only real amenity - the...

“Overall the stay was great. Staff is wonderful and the restaurant bar is our favorite stop for drinks before heading off to plays. We have used this property before and the location can not be beaten. My only issue is there was a hold for the full stay amount plus an additional $200 for room charges. Then on check out we were charged the room rate amount. It has now been 7+ days and the fairly large hold is still pending. It is frustrating to have to review and confirm the amount is still not...

“Room was clean and neat. This year we stayed on the third floor; i found the water pressure lacking and the shower surround was tipped out so water gathered on the floor. The toilet seat was loose which presented a challenge to stand up from. The in-room nspresso machine worked fine but, they really be cleaned and, tried not to think too hard on what might be happening with the inner-workings.
