“Everything was good.. spent 3 days for Chicago.. Parking was Great... Check in was easy.. little hard to understand the lady at the front desk for checking in.. room was good size.. handle on sliding door for patio was broke told them when we went to get pizza.. gone for about 3 hours and when we came back it was fixed!!!, only thing was there was no holding bars in the bathroom.. for toilet and shower... overall a 4 out of 5 .. (4 because of no holding bars) ... breakfast is not free..McDonalds...

“It was cheap and basically as expected. I did see a roach in the bathroom in the morning though so that’s not great. But overall it was fine, safe, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a quick overnight stay. I wouldn’t stay here again though.”

“This hotel is conveniently located to various activities and the events we were attending. This is the second time we have stayed at this location and it never disappoints. The staff is courteous, helpful and friendly. The lobby has areas where people can easily get together and hangout. They have a variety of items that you can purchase in the convenience store. Both times it has been clean and orderly. We have new family within the Libertyville/Lake Forest area so we plan to be back in...

“The staff was very friendly, but the property needs updating and deeper cleaning. They only clean rooms during your stay on request. We stayed 3 nights, so I requested cleaning at 10:00 a.m. before our final night. When we returned briefly to our room at 4 p.m. it had not been cleaned. I asked again and they said it should have been cleaned and that the cleaning staff was leaving for the day. They apologized and said they would see if they could do it, but if they hadn't by the time we got back...

“They are going through a remodel (late June 2026) and upon stepping foot into the hotel, I was met with a really musty smell. Thankfully the room didn’t smell and they had air fresheners after that 1st day but the smell was very strong in the hallways and any main areas. Pool was nice for kids, breakfast was decent, the staff was wonderful. But the smell was bad- it took us multiple showers and loads of laundry after returning home, to get the musty smell off of us. “The furniture in the lobby and the room was dirty, there was no microwave in the room (there was 1 on each floor though) the refrigerator was not cold, and the room was dark the lighting was very low.”

“Great breakfast! Along with a very good hot breakfast there was a complete omelette bar. The happy hour munchies were pretty slim, however, having 2 free refreshments for happy hour is such a nice offering”
