As you step through the ornate architectural front gate, you're immediately enveloped by a sense of tranquility. The hustle and bustle of the town fades away, replaced by the serene ambiance of this unexpected oasis. Lush greenery surrounds you, creating a private yard that seems like it was plucked from a storybook.

In the center of this verdant haven, you notice an outdoor grill, dining area, and a charming firepit, inviting you to unwind and enjoy the outdoors. The setting is perfect for lazy afternoons with a book or for lounging with loved ones amidst your hectic travels.

There are ring doorbell cameras at each exterior door entrance of the unit which are on 24/7 and record exterior video & sound when activated by motion at or near the doors.

This home is just like the pictures portrayed- beautiful and clean! The kitchen was well stocked; the towels plush; plenty of space for 4 adults and 2 children. And it is located within walking distance of great places to eat and shop at. If we’re in the area again, we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here!

Mothers and daughters in town to visit family for the weekend and celebrate a birthday. The spacious kitchen/dining room was perfect for a casual group dinner and leisurely breakfasts. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. Even though weather did not permit use, we were very impressed by the front patio setup and amenities. Though on a corner, the patio is quite private and inviting. The VRBO location was ideal, as a one block walk to Piedmont Avenue with shops and restaurants. The size of the home was spacious and worked well with adults, who wanted their own rooms and plenty of bathroom space. Booking and communication with owners was easy and seamless. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to others! Happy to know that there is a great option in the Oakland area without being downtown.

This is a charming property conveniently located near a grocery store and multiple restaurants on Piedmont Ave.. It was built in the early 1900s, but has been updated into a cozy spot with a modern vibe. Our family was comfortable and enjoyed a pleasant stay.
