Hotel a Pamplin

“Stayed here twice. Comfortable room, nice staff, good tv channels. One warning: used to give a good breakfast, but now you get a weak cup of coffee and a over sweet muffin.”

“Don’t stay here. No breakfast. No one there to check you in. Did not spend nite. Dusty, Dirty, Neglected property”

“If you plan to go to this area frankly there is no better alternative. From the charming rooms and staff to the excellent meals, Babcock is a great place to stay.”

“Staff was nice and helpful. Actual facility was poorly maintained. Parking lot & front entrance was dirty. Hallways needed to be vacuumed. AC struggled to keep up. Fan in bathroom sounded terrible. Hangers were actual store hangers (with sizes on them!!!), like hangers that you would get when you buy a jacket! There was a video lottery/poker machine in the lobby area. Whatttttt??? This was not a “quality” hotel.”

“Mirror was broken, window shade also broken stuck down, I had to call front desk because there was not toilet paper, bed wasn’t assembled correctly. Floors were gritty. Beer tops and cigarette butts were all over the sidewalk and curb in front of our room. Guy next door talking on his phone late right outside our door. I wouldn’t recommend this place.”

“Room was fine Smell when entering from the back door was nasty- old smelly carpet, Weeds in rock garden - looked unkempt. And, back door didn’t have any security lock.”

“We were told upon arrival that we could not test in the room we booked due to a water leak and mold. Moved to another room that also had mold. Decided to cancel the stay after seeing this. Reached out to oyo as well as Expedia. Expedia was helpful on reaching out to staff about the cancellation policy and a refund. I was told they waived the cancellation and would issue a refund since we provided proof of mold. Nothing has since been processed and I am unable to contact anyone.”

“This property was great for a two day stay while in town for a wedding. We had our dog with us and the property was dog friendly- even had dog treats in the lobby. Our room was clean and the staff was very friendly!”
