We were celebrating my husband's 60th Birthday and had booked a beautiful Stellar Suite for 2 nights. “The one bedroom apartment was fantastic for 2. The bedroom and the living room both facing the ocean and with sliding doors. Bathroom with a one person jacuzzi was nice and big with two basins and a window where you could see the ocean through the bedroom. Staff was friendly. Both inside and outside swimming pools could have been a bit warmer to be used in the winter and the sauna was being serviced.”

“Our room only had air con in lounge and was very noisy. Bedspread had huge burn hole insufficient blankets no pool towels and very basic kitchen”

“The check-in process after hours needs to be improved. We were locked out and the after hours wall phone in between the two automatic doors was dead. All of the light switches gave substantial electric shocks to my wife and I. Overall the unit is showing every part of its 50+ year age, including the bedroom doorknob that came off while attempting to use the bathroom in the middle of the night (along with most towel rails etc loose). Bedroom fan very noisey, keeping us up through the night....

“Great Location! Front desk staff were polite and friendly and resolved any qualms I had. Hotel is in a great location close to convention centre, casino and beach. Obviously due to the age of the property the room itself is tired with clunky wooden furniture that is showing wear and tear. The room is spacious, with a big modern tv and great ocean view , however the decor needs to be updated to keep up with the times of what a modern beach hotel should look like.”

“I liked that tram was right next to it the hotel, was convenient to go shopping the room I stayed had a nice view of some parts of the beach, Staff were friendly welcoming and helpful, 5 to 10min walk close to beach, restaurants and cafes. Breakfast was average the variety of the basics it was convenient to have and go to our daily activities”
