Cottage a Parco Limefitt

“Excellent location. Overall I recommend the accommodation. I major issue: the showers in two of the rooms did not have hot water. When I attempted to contact the owner, via message app, I did not receive any response. We had 3 couples in the house, we ended up all having to use one shower. Note that shower was a handheld shower in a bath tub with no shower curtain. This resulted in water every way. Additionally the dryer stopped working, it took us a while and some googling to determine there...

“Nice place, right time of the year. Cabin and hot tub were excellent. The shared pool leaves a little to be desired for young kids. Especially those who may not be confident in the water. I would go back and stay in Lodge 15 Langsdale again. Short trips in the car gave great views of the area and loads to do. ”

“Lovely property, very convenient for Windermere area. It was handy that all three bedrooms have their own ensuite. It was lacking a little in kitchen utensils if you wanted to properly self-cater. There were some odd little items missing like hand soap in the bathrooms and only one toilet roll in each room, but otherwise clean tidy. It was particularly hot when we were there, so a fan or two would have helped. The door closers could do with adjusting - a couple of the doors slammed loudly if...

“The door of the en suite shower would not open properly and once in the shower it was difficult to get out !! Some shower gel would have been helpful. Overall the accommodation was very nice despite the steep steps up to the property. The decor was very tasteful and extremely clean and spacious. ”

“Lovely little cottage on the outskirts of Ambleside. Nicely decorated, with comfy bed and fully kitted kitchen. Owners have provided board games and leaflets/info of area. Please note it is an old property with very steep stairs and tight doorways upstairs. Tricky for those with mobility issues or small children.”
