“This accommodation surpassed our hopes. I was with my elderly parents and wanted a property on one level. The fixtures and fittings were of an excellent standard, good quality bedding and towels. Fantastic walk in shower which was safe for my parents and very spacious. All the rooms were spacious and everything we could want was provided. We were lucky enough to have some lovely weather in April and could enjoy the garden which is so nice. The pub that is about 1 min walk was an extra benefit if...

“This is an excellent house in superb state of repair with very good quality furniture. It is very well equipped and spotlessly clean. The booking process was simple and Martin Wardle of the agents was extremely helpful. The house is situated in a village which is very near Kendal, the lakes and just over one hour to the Solway coast. There are some very good dining places in the area with our favourite being The Watermill Inn which has its own micro brewery producing very tasty beers. All in all...

“We've stayed at this property several times in the past 18 months or so and have always rated in highly in reviews. This time around we felt that the fittings need refreshed. The sofa is stained and the carpets are in need of a clean/renewal. But we'd still come back again. The fittings are modern, the location is peaceful and local amenities are just a short walk away. ”
