“We have enjoyed a fantastic 2 night stay, the location was spot on only 2 minutes to Lake Windermere and the ferry landing point. Colin is the perfect host, very attentive, knowledgeable of the area and looked after us well. Breakfast was a lovely; full English in a cosy setting. The room was fine with all amenities. It was our birthdays whilst there and Colin decorated the room, these touches are most appreciated. Definitely recommend 10/10”

“Absolutely wonderful - everything about the stay was perfect - beautiful house, breakfast, and hostess ! It is no wonder that it is. 4 in a bed winner ( for those who don’t know it’s a uk TV programme where 4 guest house owners compete against for best guest house etc ) We didn’t know this when we booked !
