“The room was great, spacious and the balcony and view were great. Water presure to the spa bath was very weak, which was surprising as the shower pressure was great.(strange..) Otherwise our stay was great and I wouldn't hesitate to stay again, or recommend to friends.”

“Some friends booked for us to stay here whilst attending a sporting event whilst over from the UK. It’s a conference centre first and foremost and for the ten days we were there there were no conferences so was very very quiet with limited facilities available. “Overall stay was pleasurable. Nice cottage and quiet surrounds. Just a few things- Lucky key box was already open as we weren’t sent a code or check-in details. Cobwebs and dust hanging from windows, ceilings and fan was an eyesore. In the accommodation folder says bacon, eggs and yogurts were supplied for breakfast, no yoghurts, and weren’t expecting Aldi packaged sliced ham instead of bacon and Aldi prima’s. No curtain to cover the window facing the loft bedroom which let the hot sun beam...

“Loved the property. Stayed in the Geranio villa which was very well designed with heaps of space for a family of 4. Wines were fantastic, as was the views of the surrounding vineyard. Highly recommended for a winery stay!”

“We were married at Chateau Yering 25 years ago and return regularly for a night's stay, which is always a delight. We love the rooms and the breakfast at Sweetwater Cafe, as well as the attentive staff. We always enjoy a game of backgammon in the Library too, but this time we couldn't get a drink at the bar at 7:30 pm as there were no staff onsite. ”

“Going to start off by saying that when you advertise a cottage in the middle of peak summer then you should ensure that at the very least the aircon is working. The place felt like a furnace the moment we stepped in and when we switched on the aircon it was not working. I promptly messaged about it hoping someone would come and fix it next day. We were staying for 2 nights only. The first night was unbearable. Kids woke up in the middle of the night as the upstairs rooms were very very hot. So...

“A gorgeous place to stay. We loved our time at Aquila and felt so relaxed and refreshed being there. The room was clean and cosy, especially with the fire on. The amenities were fantastic and the bottle of bubbly readily enjoyed! We both found the bed to be comfortable and had a real quality night's sleep. Couldn't fault it, thank you for having us! ”
