Hotel a Pilot Mound

“We arrived to our stay as we had come for a concert in Ames. The hotel is on the very edge of town set back from the interstate. The grounds do not even include trees. 1 person was working the front desk and was helpful with any questions I had. Our room was located up a flight of stairs or just outside an elevator. “Entertainment, restaurant, and motel vending all easily accessible without leaving the building! Clean property and rooms. We will be back!”

“Breakfast was underwhelming and cleared out by the time we got down at 7:15. Staff was nice. Room was clean, would stay again and not use the Expedia app. I was stuck with a handicap room and had to quickly take a minute shower because anything longer would’ve flooded the entire bathroom. Not happy about that especially since I made this reservation well in advance.”

“If you have a weak stomach from smells do not stay there. The room was clean. The stool didn’t work. The smell in the office and hallway was terrible. I even used Lysol spray and that couldn’t cut it. ”

“The space was clean and breakfast was delicious.”

“They were defrosting refrigerator of our room. Frig stuffed with towels. We mentioned this was bothersome and they said they could move us but the asked if we had used the bathroom and acted that if we had it would need to be recleaned so we never moved. Came back later to find water all over floor and they gave us towels to clean it up ourselves.”

“Was a super clean well maintained property! Pool wasn’t open during my stay.”
