“Excellent location, within walking distance of Ambleside, Rydal and Grasmere, also close to the main bus routes. Wonderful hosts, really friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. “The hotel is in the beautiful city of Grasmere. There was limited parking even though online advertised available parking. When I booked online, the family room showed two beds. When we arrived, there was only one. The plumbing was very noisy and the shower was very narrow and hard to use. The bed was not comfortable at all. ”
