“I love Lucy so staying here was a treat and the rooms and swimming pool were nice but I thought I was paid in full and I had a $25 charge on my credit card when I called the hotel they said it was a parking fee yet the hotel NEVER advised me and it’s a very small unattended parking ”

“While I was waiting to check in, the female staff offered welcome drinks to 2 parties of guests (Caucasians)in front of me, asking which drink they preferred. When it was my turn, as the only Asian guest in line, I was not offered anything at all. This is something I’ve never experienced, not even at budget motels. To encounter such apparent discrimination at a so-called resort hotel is deeply disappointing and unacceptable. ”

“We had a wonderful stay the Tahquitz Pines Retreat is clean and new, the grounds are all very clean, the room was nice and clean, the staff was all very nice. The bartender was excellent. Hats off to him. We also used the basketball court which was great, although they need to get a new ball. We will be back!”

“This was by far the nicest "Budget" hotel/motel I have ever stayed in. (And I have stayed in 100's) Check in was quick and simple. The lady behind the counter was pleasant and efficient.
