Hotel a Plateau

“Room we had had a large cut in the carpeting. Not all the lamps were functional in the room. This was the second time at this hotel over the couse of a week, our first room was in much better condition On the good side, there breakfast was great amd it is in a good location for area resturants.”

“I stayed here with my dog while we were going to visit New River Gorge (which I also highly recommend!). Nobody seemed annoyed that I had my dog! The staff went above and beyond to make sure I had a good stay. It was safe and clean. The park was super close and there is a ton of stuff to eat nearby as well. I appreciated the room also came with a fridge and microwave. Good tv options (it rained a lot on day so I appreciated this). Coffee available all day. Ample parking. Really can’t go wrong...

“The staff was very helpful in what we needed and getting us anything extra. We were able to park in the back very close to our room and see our vehicles right outside the window. Only issues the we had was, there was no luggage stand nor ironing board (although provided one when asked for it) and the fridge seemed to freeze our drinks. The breakfast was mediocre but that is a hotel for ya. Staff did replenish it when running low quite quickly and the dining area was sufficient. All in all a...

“The front desk staff was very friendly and suggested a restaurant and also the New River Gorge Visitor Center. We went to both places and enjoyed them. The bed was comfortable. Had a complimentary breakfast that was okay. If I were to go back I would probably stay there again.”

“The room and bathroom seemed clean. However, the carpet was filthy! The staff was amazing and helped us cancel our second night with no arguments; (we cancelled for health reasons, early end to the vacation.)”

“The entire hotel was very clean, the staff was excellent, breakfast was as better than I expected, parking was very convenient. The pool table was an added bonus for myself and I noticed for other guest as well. The business center area was ready for all my business needs.”

“Very disappointed in the quality of the property. Try to stay at Hampton/Hilton when I travel and this was the worst Hampton that I've stayed at. Damaged furniture, outdated finishes, and dirty painted surfaces. No ventilation in the bathroom. Will not stay at this Hampton again even though I travel through the area several times a year.”

“Very nice rebuild in progress. We were there for the soft open and experienced some of the growing pains. But the staff was friendly and kind. The room was very clean. We would have liked to know in advance that the pool was not functioning. Looks like the place is on it's way to be a really good value in a convenient location.”

“Everything was filthy. There was a pile of dirty towels outside by door at 9pm check in that stayed there all night. The hook lock for the door was broken. The bath mat was filthy. the carpets in the room and halls had not been vacuumed.”
