“The one bedroom apartment was fantastic for 2. The bedroom and the living room both facing the ocean and with sliding doors. Bathroom with a one person jacuzzi was nice and big with two basins and a window where you could see the ocean through the bedroom. Staff was friendly. Both inside and outside swimming pools could have been a bit warmer to be used in the winter and the sauna was being serviced.”
“The room was spacious and newly renovated, the location was convenient, within walking distance to all the shops and the beach, nice pub downstairs. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Only downside is that it can be noisy till midnight, but that has to be expected from the location, so I'm still giving it 5 stars. ”
“The room was beautiful with gorgeous sea view. There was construction going on to a high rise nearby which was a bit noisy during the day but that didn't spoil our stay. Cafe for breakfast and lunch was lovely. Trams and bus nearby. Bed was so comfortable!”
“Would reccomend putting dead locks or key locks on balcony doors as for toddlers the locks on their now are super easy to OPEN!! Could do it with windows too for safety.
The lamps in rooms had quite a lot of dust built up also.

There are plenty of great dining options nearby on Tedder Avenue, plus the tram is also very close, so we didn't need to hire a car.

“Staying at the Dorchester on the Beach was an excellent choice for our three night family getaway. The location was amazing - looking straight out across the ocean we could see and hear the ocean from both balconies. Three roomy bedrooms and three toilets and bathrooms were most appreciated. Kitchen had everything we needed and more and the laundry was clean with a new front loading washer and dryer.
