“Unfortunately, I could not stay at my reservation due to the water crisis in the area. No water for showers or toilets meant that we had to cancel our stay to leave for an area with running water. While the water crisis was not the fault of the hotel, that crucial bit of info would've saved us a lot of frustration & vacation time of communicated beforehand. “Booked from Saturday - Monday and there was zero water. Couldn’t shower, couldn’t use the bathroom, couldn’t cook / clean. Tried reaching out to the host several times without any response (just repeated message). There was a water shortage in some areas of Puerto Rico but that was communicated to us the night before flying out. Never tried to compensate for the lack of water.
