Having a rental car made it easy to get around the island and see everything we wanted. The house is stocked with everything you would need. “The location and property are wonderful. Five stars!!However, the spiral staircase (and it's 22 steps) are narrow. HIGHLY recommend packing small bags with no large/heavy pieces of luggage. We had to unpack the large bags downstairs and then make multiple trips upstairs with our clothing.While there, the Federal government shutdown which closed El Morro, Cristobal, El Yunque and the museums. Fortunately, the two largest malls remained open, and Uber fares were very reasonable. ”
