“We really enjoyed our stay at this location, it’s a hidden gem with beautiful countryside around it, a great host couple, and many places to explore close by. Our 4 year old daughter loved the horses, alpacas and dogs on the property. Great long weekend location outside DC. Very cozy, well maintained house.”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The location, cabin size, cleanliness, amenities (even including Christmas treats!) were all outstanding! We loved the fireplace, and the walk to the local pond. We really appreciated being able to have our two dogs with us. Our daughter and family live in the area, and we look forward to staying again when we come to visit!”

“House is clean and very nicely updated. Kitchen is well equipped with everything needed. Bedrooms and bathroom are very well done and comfortable. Location and neighborhood are great; very close to Main street, parks, and Skyline drive. Backyard is very large and fully fenced. Any additional comfy chair would be a great addition in the family room. Some of the stairs to upstairs are slanted down and make them feel slippery. We would recommend anti slip treads to stairs. “My sister and I rented this guest home for a getaway weekend. Mary and Jay were incredibly welcoming hosts who clearly love their animals, and are eager to share their experience with them if you are interested. Incredibly, almost all of the animals on their farm - cats, dogs, mini donkey, horses, and one of the alpacas - loved being petted. The location is beautiful, private, and peaceful. Grateful for their hospitality.”

“We had a lovely stay at this property, and found the staff to be very polite and helpful. While the property is under renovation, we were out from 9am-5pm daily and didn’t hear any construction noise during our stay. The property is certainly older and needs the renovation.
